In In 2015 I bought a DSLR camera to assist in my work as an architect and became fascinated with the wider applications in landscapes, and wildlife which I have enjoyed an interest in throughout my life. I also get involved in community projects where photography can help raise awareness of local issues; one example is the recording of a BBC Countryfile programme in the village for which I compiled a slideshow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa2P9OQeo28&t=4s
My photographs have appeared in the Outdoor Photography magazine, the BBC, the local press, and commissioned by the Royal Forestry Society. Photos from the Humanity section featured in the Magnum Manifesto exhibition at Compton Verney gallery.
The equipment I use consists of a Pentax K1 full frame DSLR, an assortment of Pentax prime and zoom lenses, Samsung 24mm tilt shift lens, Manfrotto 055 tripod with various heads, and various filters including the Lee Filters SW150 series. For a handy pocket camera I use a Leica D-Lux 7. All images are processed in Lightroom plus where appropriate DXO ViewPoint and for focus stacking Helicon Focus.
